Our two rivals on National TV! And both games in the Dome to boot! Gotta love that.

A lot of people are saying this schedule is a hard schedule. I don't know if I agree, while we may not have the creampuffs, outside of our own division how many teams are on the schedule that made the playoffs last year, one?

What say you GoldenSpur?

Its not a terrible schedule. Probably par for the course when you're in one the 2 best divisions in the league. Week 17 @Seattle is starting to look like a tradition of sorts. We have to win one of these

You know that's the only rub for me.

Why is that?

How's about they let us end our season with them in the dome for a change?

Have I mentioned how much I despise Pete Carrol?

Good Coach, Jackass of a person!

You guys kind of got hosed with all three division games in December on the road. They could have given you guys at least one of those in the dome.

Oh well though, just part of the NFL where scheduling is one of the things a team has to overcome.

Good Luck this year

Week 2 to 4 is by far the hardest part of the schedule, imo. 2 tough road games and then turning around and playing the Niners on a Thursday. Not as bad as playing New England in a different country last year but its still a rough stretch.

The difficulty at the end of the schedule will come down to who is healthy. I think the Niners have had a near historically healthy team the past couple of years and the Rams had an abnormally healthy team last year. Should be interesting.

The schedule is tough but the division is tough. When was that last said? I don't care who or where, the Rams are on the way up, I am looking at 9-7 or 10-6 anyway. If it goes as well as I think it will, 3 teams from the division might just make the playoffs.:yahoo:

I see the Rams going 10-6, though it will take a solid Draft to assemble the team to do it. The Rams are on the cusp of becoming a perennial playoff team. This is also the year when Sam Bradford has to have a true breakout year.

I dunno dont see many walk overs here. Cards are a big question mark. Jags and panthers. Bucs and Titans? Maybe tough. I agree much hinges on Bradford.

Hey guys,

I like where the bye week is! The schedule is tough but to be elite, you have to beat elite teams. The Rams can do this.

You are right Shane, for the Rams to make it back to the good old days, we must beat all that the common folk think are elite. We already have started that process with that 4-1-1record against our division and it is the Seahawks and 49ers that people are considering elite in the NFC. I say take it one game at a time and take it to all that want to play us. We will see the next step this Thursday at the draft.

Hi blue! First, I'm glad to see you along with everyone from the CBS over here. Secondly, I'm glad the quote feature actually works where CBS never worked! LOL!

Okay, you are correct about our division record and such a great start that is! HOWEVER! the Seahawks and 40whiners have upgraded at such positions that make them a better team by signing key players through FA where as the Rams have not done much in FA when compared to those two teams! BUT, Fisher knows our weaknesses and the Rams have solid spots in the draft right now.

In addition to playing the Hawks and 40whiners twice, the Rams also play Falcons, Texans, and Colts! Those were playoff teams this past season and the Rams also play the Saints and Bears. I'm not so much worried about the Saints cause the Rams always seem to play them well. Bears are a good team in a good division... Much like the Rams so they should not be overlooked.

I will say this, the Rams need to win games that they are suppose to win... EX) the Miami game from last season.

I'm gonna cry if we lose to the Jags.

RAMS schedule looks just fine. Everyone has annointed the Seahawks or the 49ers NFC Champions.

I love it that we play them both in PRIMETIME. Hopefully the RAMS players start getting the respect they much deserve.

I'll be making my yearly trip to Arizona to catch the RAMS, All my Cowboy friends are making plans to go see the RAMS looks like I'm heading to Big D to watch the RAMS roll the Boyz on Sept. 22

RAMS will make the playoffs this year. I FEEL IT IS GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!:flame:

Yeah Vitamike I don't think this schedule is that tough. RAMS will be improved. Like the Jack Snow avatar. I have a framed photo of him on my RAMS Shrine. RAMS only deep threat for a long time. Never dropped a pass hardly. Didn't pass to him enough. George Allen always ran the first two downs then passed to a tight end.

I was so young with I first hooked up with the Rams but he was one of my first favorite players I can remember.

Vita: I wondered over to Youtube last evening and typed in "LA RAMS" and I got a plethora of tape over a number of decades. I watched a game in the Coliseum in 1965 with Bill Munson at QB, WRs Jack Snow and Tommy MacDonald with Dick Bass and Lester Josephson at RBs and Marlin McKeever at TE. Man was that fun to watch all 25 minutes of the game. WE got whipped because we could not hold onto the ball. Then I watched several asswhoopin's by the niners including the championship game where Jim Everett fell down because he was hearing footsteps on a drop-back pass. That game was hard to watch.

Then I watched a 29 minute documentary narrated by Dick Enberg on the 1973 season when the uniforms changed from Blue and White to Blue and Gold. Man that was fun to watch as well with John Hadl at QB throwing to Harold Jackson and the one-two RB punch of Lawrence McCutcheon and Jim Bertelsen. And of course that smashmouth D with all the stars-The Youngbloods, Larry Brooks, Merlin Olsen, Isiah Robertson, Jack Reynolds, Nolan Cromwell, Leroy Irvin, Fred Dreyer. I was so engrossed, they were 6-0 before I knew it.
