Ram Nicknames

Vita has pointed out some nicknames that could be used for current Rams so I figured lets get a place to organize them and have a little fun with it. Here we go:

James Laurinaitis: 'Lil Animal
Nothing new here

The defensive front (Long, Langford, Brockers, Quinn, Hayes, Conrath, Cudjo, Sims): The Elite Eight
There's eight of them and really no drop off anywhere.

Jared Cook: Cookie Monster
They call him Cookie, he's a monster

What else do we have guys?

I've just always called him Sammie.

The fact our kicker has the best nickname is a problem.

The Joystick needs to live up to that - we haven't seen that yet, but fingers crossed.

Not a big fan of 'the Elite Eight' - our ends get most of our sacks, maybe 'the End Times?'

And of course when Sammie starts being an elite quarterback, he's destined to be Sam the Man!

Usually you don't want your QB to have a nickname and generally you want to keep the name simple, imo. Tommy Brady, Joey Montana, Sammie Bradford, Joey Harrington. Terrible QB names. Tom Brady, Joe Montana, Sam Bradford, Joe Harrington. Good QB names.

But then there's Joe Cool, Broadway Joe, Tom Terrific, Big Ben, Air McNair, Cardiac Kurt, Jake the Snake, Slash, Amish Rifle/Fitzmagic, Breesus, ELIte, Machine Gun Kelly, Red Rifle, Scramblin' Fran, Slingin' Sammie and Tommy Gun. All of these are good nicknames IMO.
