Part of the relocation agreement in 1995 was that the Rams forfeited their right to remain in the NFC if the league needs to realign in order to put an NFC team in Los Angeles.

Interesting... Would assume Seattle would move before the Rams to the AFC, but interesting nonetheless.

Well, I'd imagine this makes the Raiders/Chargers the front runners. Surely LA would rather have 2 teams than 1.

Interesting design for that concept, most seats on one side. Make for a great music venue.

I was scrolling fast through the threads, and the thread title looked like

Raiders and Chargers propose Shared Stadium Plan in Prison

So I did a double-take and scrolled back.

Makes no sense to have two division foes sharing a stadium.

I really hope they don't mess with history and put the Raiders in the NFC. Please don't do it!

I don't see what's the problem of having 2 teams, in the same division, playing in the same city.

I like the design. It looks like a World Cup venue.

In this day and age no teams should share a stadium

I really don't like this idea. The Raiders belong in Oakland. I think this is all about leverage to get the deals done in the current cities. I think that the Raiders are more likely to get a deal than the Chargers. But I could be wrong.

I don't see what's the problem of having 2 teams, in the same division, playing in the same city.

Since it would be division rivals there would probably be an increase in the number of violent incidents.

The bigger issue would be that the team doing well will get and extra home game. If one fanbase is more able and willing to buy tickets the crowd can get stacked against what is slated as a home team.

They would have to move one to the NFC no matter what if this happened. I'm pretty sure San Diego would be the one to go to the NFC and either Seattle comes back to the AFC West or St. Louis decides to join us (which honestly would make me laugh a bit that the AFC West would only have one team that actually was West of the Rockies yet call themselves the West).
