it would only change if he's claimed on recall waivers.. and then i'm guessing it would be half of the cap that he had with the rags.. and the rags would take the other half

so if he made *4 mil.. got claimed on recall waivers by the rangers, they'd take a hit of 2 and the stars would take a hit of 2, if the rangers then waived him and then brought him up through recall waivers and Team X claimed him, i would think that Team X would take a 1 mil hit, the rangers would take a 1 mil hit, and the stars would have a 2 mil hit.. how weird would that be, the stars would have a bigger cap hit than the team that he's actually playing for (get fuckked dallas..)
