Washington and Toronto? Well alright its early but those records are pretty good. Miami cooled off. Cleveland is still dysfunctional, will probably get it together in the next 20 games otherwise it would be time to worry. Indiana has stayed respectable without their star. Carmelo cant lead that team to victory. Charlotte, indy, and brooklyn all middle of the pack. Lots of 500iish teams again in the east. Philly sucks, but guess what? NY aint much better lol.

Yeah, memphis, the team playing the best Defense in the league (go figure) has lost once. Houston while 9 - 2 get so many free throws its ridiculous. GS still won missing guys, they are really good. Portland? Dallas? Nice. San Antonio is laying low, 6-4. Clippers? lol. Suns and Sacramento bout where they should be. though i feel the suns are underachieving while the opposite is true for the Queens, i mean kings IMO. Lakers second worst team in the League...ugh.

Fully expect the top 5 out east to look like that at the end of the year but just in a different order

maybe. Atlanta could find a way in there.

But then again, they are Atlanta.

I'm more impressed with the dramatic improvement of the Milwaukee Bucks.
They have some young talent and Kidd apparently can coach. We'll see if it can go on the whole year. I predict they will be more inconsistent as time goes on, but will be in the hunt for a playoff spot.

I saw Parker Sunday night for the first time live.
If there was a better player in last years draft, I'd be surprised.
He's going to be a monster in this league.

Been an interesting season thus far for sure. My Mavs 5th in the West and in the East Toronto and Washington 1-2. As a Canadian basketball fan I hope the Raptors keep it up all season.

Strength of Schedule will start to balance out. I look at who/where you played as well.
If you factor in SOS.

Teams like Sacramento, San Antonio, GSW, and Portland are all doing well with tough schedules.

Teams like Philly and the Lakers have played insanely hard schedules.

Teams like Detroit, NYK, and Brooklyn are stinking despite easy schedules.

Teams like Houston, Dallas, Memphis and Chicago have feasted on easy schedules.

The Bucks actually look decent this year. Kidd has them competing and they got some serious size/defense. They are a couple pieces away from being a contender in the East. Especially with how young the Greek Freak and Parker are. Knight is also continuing to play well after his breakout season last year.

I like their direction.

To be read as ..."after recovering from the schizophrenia that is the Pistons."
Sadly, even VanGundy seems unable to pull them out of it so far. Drummond is not looking like the player he was last year (except the horrible free throws). He's got to remember how to play D without fouling so he can stay on the floor.

FEAR THE DEER!

If the season ended today last years worst team in the league would be hosting a first round playoff game being the 4th best team in the east!

"Fear the Deer" has to be the stupidest team slogan I've ever heard. No one fears a deer. No one.

What's next? Pelicans going to start saying "Fear the Beak"? :pound:
