Question about Tech's D

Is it still a result of the weak competition, smoke and mirrors, all the other horseshit I've been forced to read for the past few weeks? Keep doubting what Tubs is building. This team is as good as its quarterback play and for the first time I can remember the defense will not be the reason for any losses.

The Defense is sound. This is no fluke. I watched them play-for-play lock down WVU's very talented WR's.....

They play very good assignment football.

Sure, but I'm much more concerned about our turnover prone quarterback throwing pick sixes and just turning over the ball multiple times a game in general, which is kind of a nice change of pace. Defense generally does its job and the coaches do a decent job of making adjustments throughout the game.

You have no idea. It seems like every team I've rooted for for as long as I can remember has had just garbage defenses until Wade Phillips came to Houston. Extremely satisfied with how things are turning out.

Appreciate it. The hate from his rivals is probably my favorite thing about him, as it means he is doing his job well. It took a while, but he is doing nice things with his players so far this year.
