I don't go out of my way to buy pumpkin beers but I won't turn one down. So, I don't really have a favorite. This time of year I'd rather have Octoberfest.

What you could do is find a Cranberry Beer to have with your turkey dinner, then switch to a pumpkin beer for dessert. ehh... ehh...

Don't like "fruit beer", but there are some good pumpkin ales. This one is excellent.

I drink a lot of pumpkin beers. I only like heavy beers and live in a beer-drinking city with alcoholic friends. I probably have 10 or so different pumpkin beers per year, and have had most of the ones on the list. Schlafly Pumpkin is the best one I've ever had by a lot. It's one of my top five beers in the world.

As a West Coast (and later East Coast) beer snob, I was very pleasantly surprised when I went to a festival at Schlafly a couple of years ago. They had a really wide variety of brews, and a number of them were top flight on tap.

. . . and yes I know you're kidding, kinda.

I live in Wisconsin, it is second nature to rip St. Louis.
