@TBrownYahoo: Source: Pujols has been told he's likely done for the season. Surgery possible, but undetermined.

Well, I did everything right to post that link and it got messed up!!!

Sunday update: The MRI on Albert Pujols' troublesome left foot revealed a partial tear of the plantar fascia. According Yahoo!'s Tim Brown, Pujols is likely done for the season and surgery is a still possibility since it wasn't a complete tear.

Ouch, man. His deal is starting to have the look of A-Rod's current one with the Yanks, aside from the PED use (probably).

Yeah, Pujols dominated an entire generation of PED users. But he's clean. Yeah, right.

Just as with A-rod's contract, I am looking forward to every single penny of the $230M that the Angels will be paying Albert Buttjols. They deserve every cent.

Talk about your just desserts...he leaves a town that he basically owns and is considered a hero for the $$$ and sun of So Cal. The Angels spend $$$ for big bats and here you have the Cardinals kicking ass and the Angels wallowing in mediocrity.

I wonder if he's still "mad at the Lord" because the Cardinals "only" offered $210M? :rolleyes2:

There is no way he is only 33.

I was actually kinda hoping he would perform well (even for the Angels) for a few more years but its kinda sad how his career is shaping up. Remember the good times, I guess. Angels have Trout so no one should feel sorry for them. They just need to spend money a little better.

I was really rooting for Pujols to continue being Pujols late into his 30s too so we could see him chase the hr record...but he's not gonna come anywhere near that

Arod cheated, Bonds cheated, Mcguire cheated

Too bad Griffey faced so many injuries...he would've been the one to break that record...and do it the right way too

Yeah laziness and not stretching which leads to injuries is the right way to do it!

The Astros are 9-7 against the Angels this season. I believe that's the only team they have a winning record against. Hilarious how much money the Angels have spent for this.

And the Angels paid Josh Hamilton how much to bat .228?
