Winners
11/17 - Clemson, Xavier, Northern Iowa, Oklahoma

11/18 - Davidson, Xavier, Arizona State, Oklahoma (meh)

11/20 - Tulane (7th), Arizona State (5th), Clemson (3rd), Xavier (1st)

Best game will prob end up being Clemson v Xavier in the second round, wouldn't mind being wrong on my pick for that game. Winner would still be my pick to take the title.

I do think Xavier is the pretty heavy favorite to win the tournament. After them though this field offers up a great deal of parity. I would peg Clemson as the 2nd best team in the tournament, but they have a lot of new pieces to fit together, so they could be better later on in the year as opposed to at the beginning. I'd actually peg Davidson as the 3rd best team just do to the losses OU suffered(Hield, Cousins, Spangler). No question Clemson vs. Davidson is the best round 1 match up of the tournament. And will carry some weight that will trickle down to selection Sunday. Winner gets a top 10 Xavier, loser has to face a team that will end up in the upper 100's as far as RPI is concerned(Missouri).

I like Xavier to win it. Bring back a talented squad. Will be keeping an eye on Clemson. Projected to be a Top 50ish team this year.

Missouri's inclusion in this tournament is awful given they just had their 2 worst seasons ever. Xavier has a lineup of mostly JRs and Mizzou will be running strictly FR and SO. Before even getting into whether or not Mizzou has any talent I think they have a massive defensive rebounding issue just from eyeballing their first game and seeing how skinny, light and out of place they were. I think coming within 12 against Xavier would be seen as a small victory of sorts.

Mizzou's RPI should improve this year but not enough to make them anything but an anchor on someone's SOS compared to some of these other teams.

Thank you... I didn't want to post and insult anyone, but looking at the slate of games.. I wanted to YAWN when I saw Misery. Talk about killing the demand for a tournament.

Long term Mizzou might go back to being a mostly basketball school. I like the long term prospects of Mizzou being able to compete as a basketball team a lot more than as a football team even with the SEC East being bad at football lately.

But they have no businesses playing this year.

Solid field. I'll take Xavier over UNI in the final

IMO the most important game of the tournament is Clemson vs. Davidson, I'd say both have a realistic shot at getting an at-large bid. The opportunity to just play Xavier would be huge for the both, especially Davidson since they play in the A-10.

Clemson played a very good first half. I really think this team could potentially make some noise in the loaded ACC. They aren't even at full strength yet. If/when they get their complete roster, they may be fringe top 25 good.

Missouri with a much better showing than I expected. Xavier doesn't look to be as good as they were last year.

Gotta win those.

I know we were a massive underdog but a loss is still a loss.

Just playing Xavier is a win.
The only thing that has happened is Mizzou has shown that they have enough talent to fire Anderson if he doesn't do well this year.

Still very early but Myles Davis appears to be far more important than most of us thought. Also Reynolds inexplicably leaving hurt too.

They are talented but have to get some sort of low post game going. O'Mara started to look solid late.

Xavier got pretty good minutes last year from James Farr and Jalen Reynolds. Both of them are gone, so Xavier is going to have to replace their production.

And you added a great OOC game to your SoS and RPI. Iowa plays UVA next week in a tourney. Sure a win would be great but just playing the game helps your tourney shot. Mizzou showed enough today that a tourney bid seems reasonable especially in the SEC
