I remain pleased with what I see from Howell. He makes pretty good decisions even if he isn't super accurate all the time, and he's showing both touch and arm strength that I didn't know he had. He has really let it rip a couple times to get it in a tight window.

It would be the surprise of camp if not. Even more so than when Kasen Williams didn't make it several years ago.

a starting roster spot? He has played good but a starter? Make the roster first lol and he looks like he very well could but we have not seen the practices.

First time I am happy for the Missed XP. NO WAY do i want OT in the Preseason and i think they would have kicked to tie it. Why not they would say PJ Walker couldn't do anything at all even though he had open receivers, we will get the ball back quickly..

Ok The defense held the Titans to 3.5 YPC in the rushing game. Yes the Titans got 116 yards rushing but that was on 33 carries and the offense didn't do ANYTHING to help in the 2nd half and most of the game actually ( 2/9 3rd downs ). Some big 3rd down fails by the defense and penalties that extended drives, Those need to be cleaned up but the run defense I will 100% take.

I can't watch anymore from PJ Walker, I just can't. There are some of you in here that could do better lol ( Maybe not )

The defense was exhausted in that heat because Walker couldn't make any throws to move the chains and didn't use his legs. I don't even want him on the practice squad at this point. Again, just pre-season so mostly evaluating a select group of second stringers. A few good things on defense. Mafe looks like he will thrive in this scheme, hoping for a big jump for him as well as Hall. Knight looks really good to me. The kid is really fast and doesn't seem to know the definition of a missed tackle, lol. Reminds me a little of Bobby in early 2012. McIntosh has to be RB3 without a doubt. He had some great holes for sure but he hits them fast and hard and also made some great open field cuts and a great one handed catch on a bad throw. I like what I've seen from Shenault so far too. A nice depth piece in the WR room and a bit of a Deebo x-factor to him. Not afraid of contact and can line up anywhere. Fucking yellow laundry fest out there though. A lot of "mental fatigue" penalties, imo. That can be fixed some with a full roster though. Too hot and humid to have guys out there without a break but good to evaluate how some of them handle it too.

He's like safety 4-5 on the depth chart. If he ends up starting at some point, it means the team is riddled with injuries.

Hawks need to find a #3 QB that can actually throw but i guess the preseason is almost over and he will be on the street soon enough. NO TEAM will put him on their PS. Dude is the worst looking QB i have EVER seen.
