That rioted in support of Joe Pa...

Rediculous and disgusting. Kick him out of his school paid for house, take down that statue and run him out of town with the rest of them.

See this is what irks me so much.... Should JoePa done more than tell his authorities? absolutely... but the way the whole thing is going down, it's as if JoePa had committed the crime....

It's completely disgusting and I will always remember JoePa for what he's done and what he is... not this terrible crime.

Agree. I am beyond depressed. I wish their was a way to organize a group of rational people in support of their victims in their families.

Students rioting and doing exactly the opposite of what he said is his statement is beyond stupid, this fucking sucks.

What is going on now is you have a bunch of people (youth) just jumping on a cause without the wisdom of knowing the real issue here.

What a surprise in our society today!

What a huge clusterfuc_ this has become...

But by all means... Let's react violently to a sub issue here and let's go out and destroy other hard working people's property and endanger other bystanders for the sake of someone's job... not for the sake of the injustice that the children have had to endure...

You can blame the media and the former President for this shit. I bet if the President didn't say before that he would give uncontional support or whatever to Scumdansky and whoever else was arrested there wouldn't be a call to have JoPa's head. He should've done more, but the media is putting all the blame on him.

Noel; the media has not placed all the blame on JoePa... bullshit... they have explained this pretty well... He was not the sick fuck who molested the kids and he (is/was) a highly respected coaching legend... but the fact that he did not follow up as any rational person would do (If it was his grand kids being raped he would have)... this is the point of disgust... and the point he failed miserably at... And the why he did not do anything more... is what we do not know... but it is assumed that it was to protect his long time friend or the "U". (This will eventually come out.)

The board did what they had to do... to start the (justified process) of cleaning up the mess that was created years ago. JoePa does not have the right to dictate his timeline... and the board followed through as they should have.

Agreed! If Joe put trust in his AD to do the right thing at the time, then that trust was broken. Nothing was done by the AD & VP and Joe paid the price. On the other hand, had Joe known the whole story, he should have called the police to his house and had Mcqueary tell them the story. Who knows exactly what Mcqueary told Joe. The Board of Trustees are fighting public outrage and the media firestorm surrounding PSU. A top-down house cleaning was the result.

Try reading the grand jury report, it's in there. They already know what Joe pa knew, there is no speculation.

BTW - from page 6 on it gets graphic and disgusting, if you indeed read that report.

Morally he is complicit in every r*pe and abuse that happened after he was informed and chose to do next to nothing.

One word from him and every single one of the victims who was abused AFTER this incident...never would have happened. ONE word from him to the authorities and none of this would have happened. He is NO victim here.

He was the enabler.

You mean the coward amongst a bunch of cowardly assholes at Penn St? Including Joe Pa', the VP Schultz and the University president? Here's a snippet (I couldn't find the whole thing again):

On March 1, 2002, a Penn State graduate assistant graduate assistant who was then 28 years old, entered the locker room at the Lasch Football Building on the University Park Campus on a Friday night near the beginning of Spring Break.

The graduate assistant, who was familiar with Sandusky, was going to put some newly purchased sneakers in his locker and get some recruiting tapes to watch. It was about 9:30 p.m. As the graduate assistant entered the locker room doors, he was surprised to find the lights and showers on. He then heard slapping sounds. He believed the sounds to be those of sexual activity. As the graduate assistant put the sneakers in his locker, he looked into the shower. He saw a naked boy, Victim 2, whose age he estimated to be 10 years old, with his hands up against the wall, being subjected to anal intercourse by a naked Sandusky. The graduate assistant was shocked but noticed that both Victim 2 and Sandusky saw him. The graduate assistant left immediately, distraught

Hell to the yes on this post! Like I posted on the 49ers forum you find out a grown man TOUCHES (MUCH LESS RAPES) a naked boy in the shower you go STRAIGHT to the police, and then you DON'T stop for a bite to eat before you go to that kid's parents as well! YOU SEE IT HAPPENING? YOU KICK THE SCUM BAG'S DEPRAVED ASS AND TELL THE BOY TO RUN!!!
