We shall see, I have no faith in Goodell what so ever. Hes real good at the easy suspensions but lets others slide.

I agree. I still haven't understood why people face suspension for bar fights, but I don't think he's suspended a single player for domestic abuse.

Leroy Hill, Fabian Washington, Tony McDaniel, etc. Lots of guys suspended for domestic abuse.

I stand corrected. :tape2: Although, I still think he isn't quite uniform with suspensions.

Pryor won't appeal the suspension, and is holding his Pro Day this Saturday in Pittsburgh.

And on a semi-related note:

Former Georgia RB Caleb King has reportedly met with the Lions.

King was a backup at UGA, turning in a disappointing college career as a former five-star recruit. The Lions are looking high and low for a power runner, and could roll the dice on the 5'11", 220-pound King in the late rounds of the supplemental draft.

Then they need to go back and suspend Reggie Bush and the hundreds of other players who have taken gifts and money. They should go back and suspend guys who got arrested and in trouble on several occasions in college. What about guys like Vrabel who go unpunished for arrests? You cant just cherry pick and let others slide when you punish guys like pryor. Its complete bs.

Didnt Ohio State release him from his scholarship anyway? If so they its not an escape from punishment its one of the last options for him. I cant remember if it was ohio state or the ncaa who gave the 5 game suspension but even so he could have played ourside their ranks.

All and all its just another bs ruling from Goodell.

You have a good point there, but Bush wasn't investigated and punished by the NCAA until 2-3 years after he left USC. He didn't leave school early because he was going to be suspended, like Pryor.

I wonder if the Notre Dame receiver, Michael Floyd, would have received a similar punishment if he would have entered the supplemental draft. That would have been some bullshit if he didn't suspended.

Well, it's not like he would've played much in those 5 games regardless. Just the NFL trying to create the illusion that they are ruling with an iron first.

I don't think it hurts his draft value because he was a project anyway. It DOES hurt his pocketbook because he doesn't get payed those games, right?

Eh, judging by transgressions at The Ohio State, his pocketbook is probably doing alright.
