Kyle Williams or KWill (hope that sticks). He came up huge. Edwards goes down and all he does is have 5 catches for 54 yards, a TD and had 0 drops. Had a big catch on 4th down. Really hope he turns out to be a good receiver, I think he will

Earlier in the year when Edwards went down, I said I didn't want to sign another WR cause was excited to see what Williams could do. In the preseason he showed he could get open, him and Smith seemed to have a good connection going, so I wanted to see if he could do it against starters.

He looked decent today, he got open including some where Smith didn't see him. I think the play where Smiths pass went backward, he had a step on a defender down field, a nice over the shoulder pass could have got them at least a nice chunk of yards.

i think props need to go out to williams and crabtree. crabtree finally started to look like the guy from texas tech.

edwards still looks a bit hobbled from the injury. hopefully he gets back to 100% soon.

Williams needs to play: he catches the ball and he makes difficult catches. Very dependable so far and he looks to be somewhat elusive as well.

Crabtree was working Peterson today. He should have had a TD to show for it as well, and on Smiths int. he could have had a second one.

Yea Peterson looked bad today, it's probably the most impressed I've been with Crabtree so far, I hope he can start to do it consistently.

I dunno on that one...he looked pretty covered to me. Alex should have thrown that one away.

his tackling was atrocious. that can obviously be worked on, but he was very unimpressive today. a great athlete but it'll be interesting to see how he pans out as a corner.

Yeah, he should have just scrambled until needing to run out of bounds (he had *some* room). I like ending all our drives on points (until it didn't matter).

I hope Alex was in screw it mode because of the situation. In a close game vs. a good team you can't just shoot 1st in the redzone. A bad throw for an INT is not as good as getting sacked or a throw away but better than him diving for the endzone and getting injured.

I ddint like some of the playcalling when we got close to the red zone/in the red zone. I felt we passed too much on first down then ran a run up the middle usually for a little gain leaving us with long 3rd down conversions.

On the interception Staley was in the endzone, even if Smith completed it they probably would have got that ineligible wr penalty

It feels so good to see KW get active in the games.... he could be a real difference maker if our top targets are being covered tight.

he should have threw it away or ran for it. he made a good play to avoid the sack but can't mess things up in the red zone. but then again it's what his 2nd red zone int ever? guess it was bound to happen since they jinxed it like 2 mins earlier
