Seriously, if you don't like a person why do you keep posting on their threads?

A few points....

-- I think John Connor makes the team if Chris Pressley can't get healthy.

-- As I mentioned in other posts, I don't believe Gio will be the kick returner.

-- If Adam Jones is the punt returner, there will need to be a second guy that can return. In the past, Jones has been held out if he's played multiple downs during a defensive series (I don't think they want a fatigued guy returning a kick).

-- For the prior two reasons, I'm guessing we'll see the return of Tate.

-- Surprised to see the lack of faith in Maybin - He seems like a prime candidate for the Mike Zimmer rehab.

-- I think we keep Wharton.

-- I think Taylor Mays is finished.

1. Grad could you please tell August that just because I post in a thread he starts doesn't mean I am talking to him and he doesn't have to question every post I write. If he has me on ignore there is no reason for him to worry about what I am writing.

2. With the picks he is making I think Gruden is wanting to go to more of a 1 back system. Alex Smith started at FB quite a bit for Cleveland last year. I think they worry more about keeping 4 TEs than a FB.

3. I'm not sure what they will do with Gio yet as far as the return game goes. And you are right, if they don't use him or keep someone else who can return then Tate will likely be back. I'm hoping Tate is gone though.

4. I've been told by a couple people in the know with the Bengals that they LOVE Lamur and wanted to find a place to start him last year but couldn't. I think they could keep Maybin over Rey, but then who backs up the middle? Porter? I think they keep Moch over Maybin.

5. If Wharton can beat out Boling I think they keep him. A lot depends on how well that 32 year old knee comes back. I don't think they pay a backup OG 3 mil this year. I'm not sold he can come back healthy and start.

6. Again I've been told by a couple people in the know with the Bengals that they wouldn't be surprised if Mays started the year as the starting SS. They don't think Marv will start Williams right away.

I graduated high school before the internet -- I'm not going to play high school games on the internet!

Well I sure as hell can't tell him and his stupid post the message saying he can't see my message and then question why I'm talking in his thread is getting old.

I definitely see an expanding role for Lamur. He was used more and more as the season went on.

The reason I think Mays is gone is that I thought Marvin and the defensive coaches started giving up on him as the season wore on last year. I wouldn't be surprised to see another veteran safety added to assist Williams with the transition.

Yeah they love Lamur. As far as Mays, if they add someone else I could see them cutting him. If not, I don't think they keep Miles or Sands over him. Crocker could be the guy they end up bringing back. They I could see Mays cut.

Porter can play all three spots.

I knew they said he could play either outside spot, but I couldn't remember if they said he could play in the middle too. I guess if Rey were to go down we could always move Burfict inside and play Lamur or Porter outside too. I still think there is a shot we bring Howard back too.

If Pressley starts the year on the PUP then Alex Smith stays and he and Charles play some H-back/FB. One of Boling or Wharton is getting cut.

I'd be fine with dropping Moch at this point.

So would I, but I think Zimmer thinks he can mold his speed and it's only been derailed by injury. I could see Vincent Rey over Moch though.

I wonder if they will pull some weird crap like making Ryan Whalen out to be the answer at #2 receiver. Remember they tried that shit with Armon Binns.

Sanu is pretty much a lock to be the #2 WR going into the year unless an injury happens.

yea, I guess your right, they used Sanu and Jones last year, so that should continue.

they've already broke the ice, they aren't as stupid as Jerome Simpson, we can relax.
