I like it but I would of really liked to see Robinson. He had a 1,000 yard season with a shit quarterback.

Production-wise... he just wasn't a top 4-5 receiver in the NFC.

So far as pure talent, though? He's top 4-5 in the conference.

The averages are what they are. Robinson is fed a lot and does a lot less with it. You can blame Mitch, but there's a LOT of damn good receivers in the NFC right now...

Shit, the way this disaster of a season went, I'm pleasantly surprised we had three make the squad.

Only one really earned it tho.
I'm not sure who your two are, but I was kinda thinking the same thing. Mack and Eddie. But over the years I've seen dozens of PBers who made the team way more on reputation than actual season performance, so it's not like we have a rare injustice here.

I agree. Mack should get in every year anyway, regardless of what his stats say. (He still had a bunch of FFs this year, fwiw)

Jackson HAS to go back to Free Safety. He did an admirable job at Strong Safety, but he is exceptional at the FS spot. Might be the sole reason HHCD doesn't get re-signed.

Patterson earned every vote he got. Might be the best special teams player in the whole league. Super easy to root for him...seems very likable.

Allen Robinson Stats | Pro-Football-Reference.com
Julio Jones Stats | Pro-Football-Reference.com

Allen Robinson and Julio Jones each have APPROXIMATELY 129 targets per fantasy pros (which uses NextGen)

2019 Most Targeted Wide Receivers | FantasyPros

Robinson: 83 REC 1023 7 TD's
Jones: 82 REC 1150 6 TD's

Ryan's average depth of target is a lot more than Trubisky's as well.

Shit happens when your offense (and/or your QB) is utterly incompetent.

I’m not so sure about your pure talent evaluation. I’d put Julio, Michael Thomas, Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs, Devante Adams, Amari Cooper and Emmanuel Sanders at or above Robinson’s level. I’m guessing there are guys I’m missing as well.

Sadly this happens all over the place. I dont think Rodgers should have gotten a bid but he got in based on his name

Yeah, it's as old as the Pro Bowl itself. Often times people are awarded simply based on their reputation. Goes with the territory.
