Yes, yes it is. I really don't think he s worth it. I see him as a B+ SP more than an Ace. Doesn't pitch well at the end of the season when needed most in big games. I think it is a Cano type deal that they regret sooner rather than later.

I agree, we might be in the minority on that. The Red Sox needed a pitcher and they paid out the ass for one. I really don't think it makes them $30 mil better though. The market for FA is super inflated right now.

There is a 3 year opt out, but I think it is only a player option.
