Preseason Week 3: At Washington

The Broncos ruled out the following players:
Tight end Troy Fumagalli (soreness)
Guard J.J. Dielman (knee)
Cornerback Marcus Rios (leg)
Offensive Lineman Andreas Knappe (head)
Offensive Lineman Sam Jones (back spasms)
Safety Su’a Cravens (knee soreness)

Ron Leary is a game time decision.

Cravens really needs some reps to be ready, but starting to look like he won't get any. Maybe they play him a little in Week 4, but doubtful. He may have to just get broke in if/when he is healthy enough to play in the regular season.

Such an important game for our starting offense, defense and special teams to show what they've got. This one should be game-planned. I know it's pre-season but the real pressure is on VJ and his staff to show that they're capable of putting together an effective game plan that highlights the team's strengths and that they can get the squad motivated and ready to execute the plan.

I would also like to see a lot of Royce Freeman playing with the starters. I think the Broncos may have nailed this pick and I'd like him to get continued reps/experience.

Royce finds the end zone- play him and play him often (if he can block).
