Preseason Game 4 thread

7:30 PM EST. Replay on NFL network Friday 10AM.

Not sure there will much to see in this one though.

I might watch 2nd team a little in the morning on replay. IMO Caldwell and his crew already have their minds made up on close to 50 guys. Not big on watching sloppy football anyway.


On the off chance Caldwell reads the Hoop. CUT Ross and Lewis.

Should see lots of Zenner, Riddick, Igwenagu, Ross, Jones, Salas, Fauria, Boggs, Cudjo, Webster, Hunt, Wootton, Copeland, and Isiah Johnson.

Basically all the guys fighting for roster spots, minus Riddick, who will just be getting reps to get reps since he's a 3rd string RB.

I hear ya. We probably are not cutting Ross. Hoping we can keep Jones as a 6th. Unfortunately, we need another LB that can cover a TE and I dont think we have one on the roster yet. Maybe if we find a FA that can do that and play ST then Lewis can be let go.

I think most of those guys are staying actually. Fauria, Copeland, and Salas are the only ones in big trouble.

I'd take Jones and his potential over Ross and his steady-but-uninspiring play.

Dude got cut and traded for a kicker this off season. Should be expected when a TE is smaller than a QB.

Best part of that play was Rubick saying"It's nice seeing a #13 at Ford Field with speed." Nate just rolled with it though.
After watching a punt return earlier. Rather have Jones than Ross as the #5 and the return guy.

He can play between the 20's though in the passing game. Him and Fauria are both liabilities blocking in the run game. Fauria stands straight up and Wright has no ass behind him. Either way, sure hope Ebron continues getting better as a blocker. It will be needed.

Ebron looks stronger and faster to me. Maybe he is finally figuring out that he is not playing in college anymore and you need to be in top condition to play at this level.
