Give us some of your predictions on final roster cuts and playing time for all these new Niners. I'll start...

Marcus Martin will start at center and the competition with Kilgore won't even be close. The dude is a beast.

Carlos Hyde will have at least 120 carries this year and it won't be due to others being injured.

Aaron Lynch plays more snaps on D than any other rookie besides Ward.

Trey Millard makes the team as our 3rd TE/Hback

Does Tank count as a rookie?

I hope Lattimore is not done, but it sounds like he doesn't have his burst back yet. It may be a possibility that he is done because we drafted Hyde. In case Lattimore is done I bet we keep James.

I would like to see some draftees or other youngers push older guys off the team, like Osgood, Snyder, TJE, Wright, Cox and Ventrone. If the young CBs we drafted are on par with Wright/Cox we definitely keep the youngsters.

Two other guys that I'd like to see how they pan out are Lawrence Okoye and Luke Marquardt. They both look the part.

I don't think Osgood and Ventrone can both be gone. Maybe one of them, but we can't afford to fuck with our ST for a 5th string CB. Okoye likely does another turn on the PS, possibly Marquardt as well. Snyder could be gone, TJE is a bubble guy, Wright and Cox are probably in trouble, and I think Lloyd is gone.

Two other guys that I'd like to see how they pan out are Lawrence Okoye and Luke Marquardt. They both look the part.

With the team's disinterest in giving most rookies much playing time, I chose vets over rooks unless the rook would most likely be a substantial upgrade, but even so, Acker is the only rookie in my scenario that doesn't make the team.

Ellington is the only returner in my scenario, which is dangerous, but I was going off my belief that LMJ will be traded. After looking at it again, Moody is probably out because I don't see Harbaalke keeping 6 backup LBs, even if an ILB will have to step up while Bowman is on PUP, so LMJ probably makes the team as long as he hasn't completely burned all his bridges by Week 1.

I'm not worried about Lattimore yet since it's so early in the offseason, but ya never know.

Ramsey could push TJE off the team, and I thought about it, but I just have a feeling they're gonna stick with TJE or Dobbs because of experience. I see Ramsey as a guy they try to stick on the P.S. if he doesn't make the 53.

SF is probably higher on Chris Cook than I am, which is more a problem for Cox than Wright since Wright played well in 2013 and Cox most likely isn't gonna magically "turn it on" before the season.

Johnson & Acker are probably 2 guys fighting for 1 spot, and with Johnson viewed as CB or Safety, I see him having a higher chance of making the team because then they can dump Ventrone, Dahl, or Spillman.

Finally, I agree with imac and think the P.S. is the best shot Okoye & Marquardt have in 2014.

I wasn't brave enough to have Gore not make the roster for my guesstimate of the 53 like you did, so kudos for that.

Also, you caught it before I could mention that you'd forgotten Stevie Johnson.

I'll say it again.....teams are going to be waiting for our scraps. Guys that can suit up on Sundays for other teams will be cut from our roster. Annoying to help other teams out......

OK when I went to bed I saw a tweet he went to Oakland. Glad he is with the 9ers. Man is he a good player. I am a Stanford fan and saw all his games.

He will be our new Costanzo

Hyde will be Gore's primary backup, Hunter will get carries and play 3rd downs but Hyde is a bad ass and healthy, he will be ahead of Lattimore and James
