Predictions anyone??

i know we have one of these already...but what team do you see making a surprising climb and what team do you see making a surprising drop in the regular season?


for me, i think the bolts may shock some people (heh heh heh) in the regular season...if vinny can gain his form, and ellis performs well, they're in a good spot.

and for the drop, the hawks. not out of the playoffs, but depending on what happens with their goalie (niemi in for arbitration), i think they're bottom 3 in the playoffs.

I think the Thrashers could contend for a lower spot. The Bolts will also shock some IMO. (and your's too)

in the west i was thinking about chicago although i still think they are good so i will say san jose. no idea why they payed niittymaki 2 mil.

I also says Sharks and Hawks both make the playoffs but drop 2-4 spots.

I don't think the Hawks will drop that much. Having said that, I don't think they will win their division either. The West is gonna be nuttier than a Baby Ruth. Blues will make it in too.

I could see the Avs missing the PO's next year.

Buffalo is not getting better. Somebody has to win that division. And the Flyers and Pens will get beat up playing each other and Jersey 6 times each. The Bruins play the Senators, Maple Leafs, and Habs 6 times each. Hm.

I mean, if you must:
