There's a lot riding on this game for both teams on a very rainy afternoon come Sunday. For the Eagles a loss put them almost back where they were when staring at a must win following a 2-0 start. For Washington, a loss at home could signal the need for changes by an impatient owner spurred on by the chorus of dissatisfaction emanating from those brave souls in attendance . A win by either calls off the dogs for at least another week, the question is which will it be?
As usual, we ask for a final score and who wins, player or players of the game and what you see as a memorial moment (maybe game changing) play of the game.
To me the rain turns this game into a slogfest with enough slips and slides for everyone. In the end the Eagles come out on top by the score of 23-13 primarily because they will be operating in short field situations all day. Player(s) of the game will be both field goal kickers as combined they account for 15 of the total points scored and the memorial moments will be camera shots of Dan Snyder pressed in to his seat and the clear frustration on the sidelines. Well, that my prediction.........What's yours?
