Prediction Friday.............So many question, but even the odds makers?

This week brings a bit of excitement and anticipation with the return of RGIII to the helm. However the move also elicits a bunch of questions, some to be answered during or by games end. Some have said that the best time for a return is after the bye week, while others have stated that as long as he's healthy and ready to go....he should go! Sounds a bit like the old "tastes great, less filling" commercials huh? Well, here we go this week the odds makers can't decide either, making this a "pick-em'" game. Late injury to CB Breeland, gives others an opportunity......them and us, so I'm sticking with the odds makers and predicting a 17-17 OT draw. Hate to call it that way, but like I said........too many questions!

You and Dad are pretty much in accord, I'm hoping that either of you are right, however, Garcon may very well be MVP, but I've got a sneaking feeling that either Porter or Minnifield are gonna surprise all of us.

One good week doesn't show me our defense is any good. And our OL will really struggle in pass protection against a great pass rush and great pass defense. That will cause our offense to struggle. Not an excuse, a fact, that the Vikes have a very good pass defense which will cause Robert problems. And they are playing at home

We are going against a rookie QB. So we should win. If we get Jax and Reed involved early we should win this game by two scores. Plus the running game should be better with RG3 back. Minn and Tb are two games we should win. With the talent on offense we should be able to outscore both teams. We are going against Bridgewater and McCown. If we lose these next two games something is wrong. Yes I was one of the few who predicted a win at Dallas. Stymie called me nuts. Who is the nut now? With good QB play this team is a 10 win team.

We tend to make rookie QBs feel right at home over the years. While I agree they have limited weapons we still suck on defense.

i really feel Rg3 will struggle with rust . he will hold the ball too long because at this point he trusts his legs more then his reads

gruden is right he does need to "let it fly " and that will take time

but when the game thread comes out people will be frustrated wanting him benched etc . we need to have a steady hand and believe our defense will get it done

we need to run the ball that will help and play as a team

i feel we can beat the vikings if we have the intensity to do so . my biggest concern is we have a let down that has historically followed this team after a big win

we have a shot to make noise if we can win our next 2 games and the coaches have to sell that

i believe we can win

This is a hard game to predict. What team is going to show? The one that fights and executes like this past Mon night against the Boys? Or the one we've seen time and again who disappoints in 1 or 2 phases of the game?

The fact that Zimmer is facing Jay and both know each other makes it a very interesting match up as well.

I'll choose optimism and go with a Skins win 21-14. Hopefully the presence of Griff helps open some things up for the running game, the defense doesn't completely regress and the STs stays the course.

We should get the better QB play. So the team with the better QB play usually wins.

Thinking we will see some rust from Griff. As Dad pointed out, we are going to have to be patient.

If Breeland can't go or is ineffective it is a major problem. RG3 rust is likely. Vikes have a tough defense and Norv will stick with the run and the short passing game. Vikes 27-24
