After a brutal scheduling stretch in which our guys played games against the Packers and Cowboys, a bit of rest and relaxation was in order prior to making a final push for a playoff spot. Facing what now appears to be very winnable games against Arizona, Philadelphia, Carolina, Chicago and the New York Giants, while not one is a certainty, we know that they have the capabilities to win out. What this team cannot do is exactly what I just did.....project ahead! Standing at 6-4-1 with little hope of holding onto their divisional crown, they cannot afford to risk looking beyond each game as a single entity. This week we take on the dangerous but disappointed 4-6 and 1 Arizona Cardinals who will pit their defensive might against our offensive prowess. I believe that above all other games, except possibly the last one, this game proves or disproves our readiness for that playoff spot. Washington 20-17.
The questions as usual:
1. Who wins and final score?
2. Player(s) of the game?
3. Memorial moment, event or play that will have them buzzing at the water cooler on Monday?
