Perusing sites for both teams you notice right away how relative little chatter there is about this game. Maybe it's a sign of respect fans of each have for the opposition, or maybe there's more trepidation about what's likely to come. In any case here's what we know. Atlanta is riding a high generated by its' 4-0 start, while it's truly difficult to not imagine this Washington team feeling more confidence after last week's thrilling finish. Unfortunately, for one of them that COULD end this sunday with a convincing loss. I've got a feeling about this one getting out of hand early as Washington again runs the ball well and commands time of possession but again settles for field goals instead of TD's. Final score Atlanta 34-20. Players of the game, your choice of any one of our RBs, and outstanding moment catch and long run by Ross or Crowder.

Julio kills us. We run the ball well but abandon it the second half. Kirk throws two picks.

IM going to go 27-21 Skins. We are better at stopping the run and will control the clock and keep the Falcons offense off the field in the first half with our ground game. Kirk doesnt take a sack and more importantly he goes a second game without giving up a pick.

Special teams once again makes things alot harder than needed by giving up at minimum one bone headed play.

Good grief. I was all set to present numerous reasons why the Skins would slow the tempo down. KC would be smart with the ball and we'd have a turn-over free game which is a must imo for a Skins victory. After reading what dad said though. I'm just gonna go curl up in the fetal position in a corner and wait for Monday morning to come.

Heh. I was just joshin as well. The Falcons ain't pumpin any fear here. They're an NFL team, just like the Skins and on any given Sunday..............

No turn-overs
Converting field position, especially once inside the red-zone/goal-to-go situations into TDs not FGs
Use multiple RBs for a healthy dose of Alf and Jones or Alf and CT
Tackle well, be physical, don't let Julio beat you
Stretch the field with Crowder and/or Ross
Don't lose the ST battle

I think the Skins get a big play from ST and a couple big plays in the passing game and pull out a close one, 24-20.

This is how I see it too. Obviously injuries happen but if we could play them with our original starting secondary I'd like our chances of sneaking up on a team whose defense just isn't that good. But with 3/4 of that group out I think it's unrealistic to expect our D to stop them and our offense just isn't capable of keeping up.
