Seems the cowboys and Ratliff disliked each other equally at the end. I personally think jerry did well dropping this guy when they did. Makes 2015 look much better for Smith & Dez

Disappointing. Apparently the problems between Ratliff and the Cowboys were a lot bigger than any of us knew. He is kind of coming off as a dick now that was going to take his ball and go home until he got his way.

I think whomever signs him gets 2 games tops out of him this year, and maybe a handful next year. I think his hatred for this team is what drove him away and it will also be that hate that makes hims sign with a team and try to play this year out of spite. That will be his downfall, he will rush back.

I think he now gets suspended. For atleast the rest of this season.

and I think Dallas gets a credit to his cap hit now.

That was about as obvious as it could get that he wasnt playing just to get away from Dallas..... Even his agent lying.


Which to me is a good thing. If we get credited the cap hit.

I think the best thing for us is that he signs this week and plays next week. The longer it takes for him to get on the field, the harder it is to prove he was sandbagging.

I don't see us getting credit for his cap hit. Perhaps (and think even this is a stretch IMO) the portion of his small base salary that we paid him for this year, but not any of the previously paid bonus money and that is where the biggest hit lies. Better chance Jerry gets back actual $'s than cap room IMO.
