mattola
Scotchy Scotch Scotch!
If Roloson doesn't step up tonight it won't matter. 4 goals on 20 shots isn't going to get it done Rolie.
lol it got it done game 6

Mattola as a Canucks fan who would you rather face in the finals? Who do you match up better against in your opinion?
yeah Ive been thinking about that for a bit now.
Tampas PP of late has been pretty good and with the way we take Penalties that would be dangerous. the being said our PK was spectacular since game 4 of the Conference Final so it may not be as a concern but why tempt Fate. I would like to face a aging Roloson more than a unpredictable Tim Thomas. And Chara scares the hell out of me but the Boston has no forwards that really match up like Tampas do
can we split the team with Tampas Defense and Bostons forwards with Roloson in Net heh
I think Boston. I would take my chance on our PP and PK but I think we can beat both. Boston just seems sexier for the NHL too so they will probably get calls tonight (ok Im just stirring shit there)
Really the teams have reverse positives and negatives its very uncanny.
also I think we have faced a better coached team in Nashville for that type of defensive style and got through it well and Julien is not that different from Trotz. I could be wrong
I think the matchup will be interesting no matter who wins. Boston has the size to matchup with Vancouver, but the Canucks are faster than the Bruins. Tampa doesn't have the size necessarily that Vancouver does but are a quicker, faster team than Boston is.
I do give the edge to Thomas over Rolie in goal though.
Either way it's going to be an exciting Final.
yeah I didnt even think about the speed. your right.
its nice to say it will be with my team already locked in. Im still stunned I expected them to make it. those who know me had me call a Boston and Canucks Final way back.
How healthy is Kesler?
no clue. but he will be 7 days Healthier on Wed. I think he will be 80-90% and for Kesler in the Final that is 150% from the regular season
Yeah the break definately helps.
I know that it will benefit either team jsut as well even after a game 7. (why Im hoping its a long long OT game lol)
but I would rather a rested (mentally and physically) Canucks squad to start that series.
