MSU could be ranked as high as #3 or so by then.

I'd like to dethrone them in that setting.

I don't think Nebraska will get the chance. It depends on how bad Bo/Beck want to get Ameer the Heisman.

If they keep trying to force it as opposed to letting it happen naturally, then Nebraska's in for a couple more losses.

If Nebraska gets tOSU and wins, then MSU will have the argument that they beat Nebraska in the regular season and you'll never hear the end of it.

If Nebraska gets a re-match with MSU and beats them, the earlier Nebraska loss will be forgotten. Much like Nebraska's wins over Washington and Wisconsin were "forgotten" after the bowl and CCG's respectively.

I just think we'd get more cred beating TOSU then splitting wins with MSU. We pulled within a score so by end of season that won't stand out and unless the B1G is left out the conference champ will be going. Doesn't matter what a 2 loss MSU says. A win over tOSU just has more shine
