I'm baaaaaaack....
Detroit (44-23-10) @ Nashville (42-26-10)
•Detroit has lost five of its last six games and allowed its most goals in a game since allowing 10 goals to the Kings on October 9, 1993.
•The Predators have won nine of their last 11 games to move into sixth place in the Western Conference and have won their last four games against the Red Wings.
•Detroit has scored a power-play goal in each of its last nine games. The Red Wings are 11-for-27 on the power play (40.7 percent) in that span.
•The Predators have allowed eight third-period goals in their last four games. Nashville is allowing an average of 0.91 goals per game in the third period.
•Henrik Zetterberg has scored a goal in each of his last three games and has six goals in his last eight. Four of those six goals have come on the power play.
•Sergei Kostitsyn has scored at least a point in each of his last four games against Detroit and in each of his last eight games overall
"Work. Compete and work. That's all it was,” Babcock said. "We didn't do our jobs (Wednesday) night. It's simple. We flushed (Wednesday's) game, and we'll move on with our life."
"The Red Wings seem to bring the best out of us and our fans," coach Barry Trotz said. "They're not going to be a happy crew (after the 10-3 loss). They'll bring their 'A' game."
