It's and In and Out deal. I have what is called Trigger Finger my pinky finger locks up when closed. I suspect one or two weeks out of work just to get the stitches out.

Agreed, I think this WR group will be better than people know. Boutte and Pop Douglas last year, J Baker and Polk this year. I would like to have seen Maye a little more.

On the other hand, while he may not have been going up against the iron of the league, Joie Milton III looked like a seasoned, ready to play QB. He's 24 and has played with the big kids in the Big 10 and SEC. 6'5" and 245 lbs and no one on the Panthers could catch him or bring him down. 4-6 54 yds. and a 38 yd. TD.

Defense looked ready and played well no matter who was on the field.

I know it was the Panthers, but the OL played much better than I expected.

Spec. Teams = A

It took me over 15 minutes to find the game on CW network … nfl network had it listed on the xfinity guide but showed the Giants game instead … bastids

Zappe is done. Milton is QB #3, for now.

Milton played with poise.

Brissett and Maye got small sample sizes.
Zappe auditioned for a trade. He is definitely good enough for a backup role somewhere.
Joe Milton looked like a rookie with some sort of future and very fun to watch. Sort of like Malik Cunningham only better.
Defense was spotty in 4th quarter.
The O-line is not ready for regular season. Fortunately it is pre-season.

All in all, I'm happy with game #1 against the 32nd ranked team in the league.......
