Chewing azz isn't going to fix some of the issues Alabama has at the moment. So far this season they have zero threat throwing the ball deep because they can't keep people out of the backfield. With no threat deep Defenses can key the run game more which again the Oline is struggling to block correctly. This led today to the defense being on the field way too much. Offensive playcalling is a bit odd too. Alabama only called 24 running plays and 39 passing plays with a 21-3 lead they didn't go to the run enough especially with BRob. He averaged 5.2 ypc on just 15 carries even through some poor blocking fits. Probably quietly the best player on the Alabama offense today with the touches he got. With defenses keyed on stopping their passing game they need to run the ball more to force a defense up more.

The way Alabama tried to get pass happy with a 21-3 lead was just odd overall. It kept putting their defense right back on the field. It is no surprise they wore down and got tired. I am sure Nick will address these things with his play caller. 2 Drives Alabama started with a 5 yard run and a 3 yard run and then just threw the ball.
