As far as the "D" goes, the Huskers played with 5 men in the box and missed badly on some tackles but were in position to make them. Granted this group is no where close to the level of Bama, but they will improve.

Nebraska had the fewest amount of TFL for a Nebraska team since 1982 last year. Today they had 11. That is the most in one game since November 20, 2010 against A&M when they had 13.

This team has more potential than I thought they would have. If they keep improving, maybe they can give OSU a battle. Realistically though, if they don't implode, a 9-3 or a 10-2 season is within reach this season, maybe even better with the ball bouncing their way some.

Yeah, I was mainly surprised at how big Enunwa and Abdullah looked.

About to watch the game again in just a bit. Will try to look at the other guys but I am going to focused on numbers and formations this time around.

The announcers said that part of the off season conditioning the Huskers worked out with Marines. Well needless to say they did pull ups and Cross did 42 pull ups. He is 18. thats freak show worthy

42 is awesome. I did two of them a while back, but that was after one of my workouts. My arms were like rubber!
