I know he was in for a work out with a couple of teams but haven't heard that he got signed by anybody.

Ben Garland is now on the Falcons practice squad. A little surprised we didn't put him on ours but my guess is the team has seen enough to know that he will never be a starter on this team. The guy worked his tail off but not everybody is quite cut out to make it in the NFL.

I would say that is more Elway than Kubiak. I was listening to a reporter talk about his days with Houston and he said that Kubiak's greatest weakness is that he would hold onto players longer than he ever should have. There is a reason that so many of Kubiak's ex-players come to practice and that is because he built a very strong relationship with them. This is where Elway comes in though in that he is not afraid to get rid of a fan favorite if he thinks it is for the betterment of the team.

Exactly. This to me is similar to when Kubiak was with Shanahan. Players from what I understand were not huge Shanahan fans. He was kind of a jerk at times where Kubiak was the guy that players went to when something was going on. Shanahan could make the tough decisions while Kubiak could build the trust of the players.

With how deep the Broncos looked this preseason this is no surprise that so many of our guys keep getting signed by others. Always tough to say goodbye to talented players but also have to take the positive side of that in we are so deep that we can afford to lose guys that other teams want.

Wow this one surprises no one. Fox was in love with this kid last year. I'm surprised it took as long as it did for them to get him.
