Reached out to scouts/coaches. consensus: Guy can stop the run. only issue is weight. But one said, "He's been a beast his whole career"

It was interesting to see that Scot's obvious first line of business was to fix the d-line.
Guess he wasn't lying when he said big guys win games. I suspect Scot goes o-line in the draft.

Finished at d-line.

Paea
Knighton
Hatcher

Kearse
Baker
Jean Francois

Re-sign Neild or some 6/7 rounder at nt and we're done.

Love the one year "show me/get your ass in shape deal."

On a one year deal, this does not preclude us from picking up a young NT in the draft, although Im not sure if this keeps Shelton in the picture or not.

Great news. Great price. The Dline is now complete. Draft Waynes at #5. Shelton should be out of the picture.

No way they draft Shelton. I think they would want Pot Roast to stay if he gets in shape and does well here. He has the motivation on the one year deal to do so. Plus we have Baker who is a very capable backup. I would be banging the table for a shut down Cb in Waynes at #5. You can cut both Hall and Porter. Sign one of the 49ers CB's and have a good threesome of Cb's. Why does this everyone on this board want to rely on hall and Amerson? Doesn't make sense to me.

so waynes is your new moses . i think most people are "hoping " hall can come back but they arent counting on it

i think most people believe amerson should get another shot then a move to FS if needed

and believe it or not waynes might not be a bad pick at 5

now the shelton debate will go like this , knighton is on a one year deal , hatcher is 33 , baker is a career BU as is RJF so it will all come down to this , who is the BPA ?
