I think there is a pretty clear top 3. Any order you can make a claim for any. After 3 I think there is a big drop-off. Had Alexander returned for Creighton, I think having them #1 would have made sense. But they still return everyone else of significance.

I'm probably higher on Tennessee than most would be. They have some really good experience coming back to go along with a top 5 recruiting class.

I'm also probably a little higher on UCLA than most. They return all 5 starters, and IIRC, I think they were co-champs of the pac 12, or finished 2nd. And they add two talented kids to the roster via transfer and incoming freshman.

I also think the B1G is due to have another great year. I could realistically see 9 B1G teams make the tournament (if we have one) and 10 isn't even out of the question either.

Looks like we have the 24/25 the same with the only difference being you have Purdue and I have UNC. Honestly thought about Purdue, but with the fact they are losing Haarms, Eastern, Proctor and Boudreaux, along with only being 16-15 last year, I think top 25 is a bit of a stretch. But with that said, maybe expanded roles for Williams, Stefanovic and Thompson will make them better. I do think they are a tournament team though. I'd guess probably in the 9/10 range.

I think Boudreaux is the only negative for them. The expanded roles of the other 3 you mentioned will help them offensively. Losing Proctor and Eastern hurts defensively but not as much as theyll improve on offense imo

I can see Painter going small around Williams next year, and them being much better offensively. If anyone can figure it out it'll be Painter. Dude has a good track record of figuring it out.

I think Baylor should be #1. They got really lucky and got everybody back.

Texas on paper is really good, but Shaka has been horrid. If he doesn't do something with this team, should be his last year.

I think Gonzaga's loss of Petrusev is big. They have a lot, but they lost ... a lot.

ACC and every blueblood of note is down this year. This is the year to make it happen for a 2nd tier program.
