I've heard Duck fans are actually claiming that Taggart is just soo awesome, that he's obviously Florida's #1 target. But of course the fact that multiple candidates told him "No thanks" until Uncle Phil ultimately settled on Taggart doesn't matter with their Duck logic. They're all gripped with fear that Florida is going to steal their magic man.

This has to be the most obvious answer at this point. This is a really bad year for upcoming coaches. It seems like most of the elite coaches are pretty settled in somewhere, so there's going to be a mad rush to hire the few guys out there like Frost.

Former Indiana head coach.
Former Oklahoma Offensive Coordinator.

Don't know what he did exactly at Indiana to get fired, but if I were Florida, I don't care.
The guy can be picked off for cheap.
You don't need to tie him up for umpteen years with a big contract.
The guy can coach his ass off.
