Post Draft Thoughts?

Go ahead and share your thoughts about your team. Happy? Not happy? 16 team leagues leave holes on rosters but most of you have been in this league awhile now so other then that how do you feel?

Also, feel free to share any other thoughts on other teams.. Favorite teams?

Meh. Seems like a lot of guys were taken too early IMO, and you either responded in kind or settled for what was available especially in middle to late rounds.

I'd also add that drafting strategies this year were different than usual, and that made it more difficult to gauge who might be available.

I'll probably be middle of the pack this year, which is fine.

It's also more difficult when you have smarter owners drafting around you. Wolvie probably has half the guys I wanted this year.

I love my team until they all get hurt. I thought the draft went smooth, no major surprises. Homers were homers but that is ok. Heck, I got stuck with the Cowboys QB.

There were so many running backs that I had targeted but I thought were drafted super early. Probably meant that I had them too low. The end result is that I have some hot garbage rb's but pretty good guys everywhere else

I had a lot of bourbon this draft. I'm thinking 2nd place or 1st.

a little different than fantasy drafts I've had in the past. it seems in this league you select 2nd-4th running backs and wait for their 1st rb to get injured so that you have another option. injuries are going to pretty much decide who has a good season. wide receivers too, but at least 3 wide receivers are on the field at one time for most offenses.

forced me to do research and I actually was trying to decide who to pick in round 19, which would normally be fairly irrelevant, and it may be. I mean, if I have to start Odell Beckham, chances are I'm already f'd, but I had thought about Tucker and rb free agents who hadn't signed with an NFL team yet.

I guess if I had to do it again I would just wait until round 19 and 20 to pick kickers, round 18 for backup defense.

I like having picked ravens defense.

but also, it's hard to determine which rb or wr will rise up and be better this year than the next, so really, after the top players were off the board, it's just a lottery, you get what you get and the effort will have to be there until it's all over.

Easily 3 off the top of my head. Another 4-5 that were on my very, very short list.

Jahan Dotson traded to the Eagles. I won't count it as a homer pick by Tony but how lucky for him to get another Eagle?

DanBengalFan, this is why Dotson wasn't such a surprise to be there in the draft... Trade rumors and playing deep into PS games. He had already lost his starting job. The writing was on the wall for him in WASH. Combined with the fact he really wasn't too good last year.
