Denver fans have also known for weeks that they were going to make the playoffs and probably host a game.

What's your point? Tickets went on sale at the same time and Broncos tickets sold out in 2 hours.

It's the playoffs. I can't understand how these are not sold out yet.

#1 seeds sell tickets quickly? That's surprising and unusual. Must be dedicated fans.

Ok, I said Friday? So By Thursday night it becomes a story. The seats will be sold and it's stupid to assume otherwise. And as for the Broncos and Seahawk fans and the "we sold out in such and such time" and "we have no problem selling tickets" crap, you sound like a bunch of fucking children. This fucking place is turning into ESPN 2.

i can believe Cincy would have trouble selling out. their fans are a little iffy with attendance. however, indy and g.bay would surprise me.

Packers tickets were as low as 112 dollars for the playoff game. And since they had a home game the last 2 years, you think the season ticket holders would know the rule. 15,000 tickets left in Green Bay. I just tried to order 4 tickets and could still get excellent seats.

Bears regular season games are more money than the Packers playoff tickets. Don't believe it, look it up. Just calling a spade a spade!

The Packers made a change for season ticket holders this year when it came to playoff tickets compared to previous years. This year the season ticket holders were invoiced for playoff tickets in November. They were required to pay for playoff tickets for 2 games even if there was only one so that the Packers would not have to put tickets up for sale a second time if by chance there was a second home playoff game. If a person had 4 tickets this would be anywhere from $800 to $1000.

Now in past years if the Packers would not make the playoffs the Packers would refund the money to the season ticket holders. This year they changed it where they were not going to refund the playoff ticket money that would have been sent in for those to games but they would apply the money to the next years cost of season tickets. Usually the money for season tickets is due in May of the following year. This next year the Packers want the money in during the month of March.

With these changes of not being able to have your ticket money refunded if there was no games and at the time of invoicing getting their ass kicked on Thanksgiving day and not knowing if Rodgers would play again the playoffs did not look good for the Packers and with the changes the Packers made with not giving refunds it makes sense why season ticket holders did not just jump up and buy their tickets.

Now that it has been made aware that there are tickets available yesterday the 75,000 people on the waiting list can buy up what was not taken by the season ticket holders. It will be sold out.

I highly doubt any playoff game blacks out. Worst case some local business owner takes a huge PR boon and buys up the remaining tickets and gives them to some charity or something IMO.

I don't blame anyone for not attending a game. The NFL is leveraging the blackout rule and pushing prices as high as possible. It's not a matter of if people want to go or not, it's if they can afford to go. In a bad economy this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Less than 100 bucks in Cincinnati. That's not high.

True, unless you want to take your entire family and park your car, then you could be looking at a $500 day. Not too many people are up for that right after the holidays.

perspective. the first NFL I ever went to was $20 in Cincinnati in 1991.

tickets to the Lions game a few weeks ago were $90.

And? Prices of all entertainment has risen pretty similarly. $100 for a ticket is nothing.

You always hear this argument when the price of sports tickets are discussed. How many guys take their whole family to a game... #1 ? and #2 - Those who can afford to take their whole family to a game can afford an extra few bucks a ticket.

The live NFL experience is like a trip to the dentist. I don't get it. I've been a few times. I hated it.

I love it aside from all of the breaks which are brutal at the game. Anywhere in the upper deck(but not too far up) between the 10s is my preference. Up higher you can see so much more and watch plays develop. It's a perspective you don't get on TV.

I can't stand anything about the entire experience. The horrible parking. The outrageous cost. The drunken idiots. The horrible views. The long walks to the john. The horrible, freezing weather. I loathe it.

I saw a guy damn near get beat to death in the restroom at a Bengals v Ravens game. That was the last straw for me. Couple that with everything else I mentioned and it's just not worth it.

I can take my family to a Reds game and sit in the club section for $85 a ticket. This includes all the food we want...gourmet selections. All the drink we want. If it's too hot we sit inside in the ac. The bathroom is right there and not full of drunken retards. You cannot beat this experience. It's so much more friendlier and laid back.

The experience is awesome. You actually can have a hint of an impact on your team.

I'm talking solely in terms of the game, though. They show none of the game on TV.
