Packers? I thought it was like a 50 year wait to get regular season tickets?

I'm surprised the Packers are on the list, but I guess I'm not all that into the idea of paying $200 to watch a game in subzero windchill that they will probably lose either.

12th man doesn't play in a stadium with a capacity of 80,000 and they wouldn't be playing in sub-zero windchill weather as a fairly heavy underdog after a disappointing season. 12th man's consecutive sellout streak also only goes back what... 8 years or so? Not that impressive.

Well, you did just passively aggressively rip on my fan base, so I can chime in, right?

So you're admitting that Packers fans are, literally and figuratively, fair weather fans?

If they still haven't sold out by Friday night, then this becomes a story. On Tuesday on New Years Eve, not so much. Btw, Happy New Year everybody.

No. Read the article. They have to sell out 72 hours before broadcast time.

One team applied for a 24 hour extension and it was granted.

Denver has almost 80,000 seats and have had 35 years of straight sellouts.

It's the playoffs for Pete's sake. I would sit in a blizzard for the playoffs, heck I have sat for many regular season games in freezing cold and the other extreme in the blistering heat for week 2.

Denver fans have also known for weeks that they were going to make the playoffs and probably host a game.

Green Bay is not struggling to sellout. Not sure why they are mentioned in this. They have sold out every game for a half century now. Is this serious?

Playoff ticket sales were opened to the public non season ticket holders today. Yesterday the season ticket holders had their opportunity. So they have not been on sale long with only finding out on Sunday night that there would be a playoff game in Green Bay.

The waiting list has over 75,000 people on it and most Packer fans that are not season ticket holders were not assuming tickets would be available to the public thinking the season ticket holders which are like 98% of all the seats would be taken by the season ticket holders. There were some season ticket holders who did not buy the tickets so there are like 11,000 tickets available as of late this afternoon. As the word gets around that Packer fans that have never been to a game can buy a ticket they will sell out.

But yes the minimum price is like $40 more than the regular season starting at $125 and the expected temps at kickoff to be about 5 degrees so it will be the die hard fans that go to this game. I will be one of them. There will be no chance of black out as it was mentioned if there were any tickets left the Packers themselves would buy them.

Packers tickets were as low as 112 dollars for the playoff game. And since they had a home game the last 2 years, you think the season ticket holders would know the rule. 15,000 tickets left in Green Bay. I just tried to order 4 tickets and could still get excellent seats.

Bears regular season games are more money than the Packers playoff tickets. Don't believe it, look it up. Just calling a spade a spade!
