I made ONE trip to Chicago, in 2002. Loved it.

Went to and rode the el on a day game, to CWS vrs NYY, 10,000 fans, hotter than shit. Two best things that day, the 'rain room in CF, ladies day, wife got in for 1/2 price.

Stayed at the Drake, NYY players were there, I saw them but didn't bother them.

Next event el trip to Wrigley, so glad I went, it's old and fun. Bought tickets from scalper and enjoyed the fucking hottest day in Chi that year. Left early to get home, the el shut down due to some failure. Took 3 hours to get back from a 20 minute ride. Stil enjoyed the day.

Two days later, the wind hit, it was miserable, terrible weather.

Bottom line, I LOVED it, we got to see both sides of Chicago. The fans were great, the weather was unpredictable, and the Mets also stayed at the Drake, rode in the elevator with Piazza. I didn't say a word. My Bad.

The last time a tornado hit a major city where large building were???? there isn't any tornado going to hit Chicago...EVER again....they have proven that the larger the buildings the less the chance it will cross that path...

It's actually a lot warmer today than it has been. It's about 60 degrees right now, and the last week we've been in the low 20's at night.
