Bears may not of wanted to trade Howard to a division opponent. That makes the most sense to me.

That's a good one; I didn't even think of it.

True. But if Nagy/Pace believed he wasn't useful, their ego may have reasoned let's trade this RB who has limited value to a division rival and watch them striggle

Not sure he felt Howard not useful, more like bad fit for his offense. Better not to risk a division opponent being able to find a useful role for Howard.

I suppose.
But Clark Kent was always the nightmare for defenses in that offense.
Still might be but his super powers are noticably diminishing.
The team's only other top options are CMAC or Olsen.
Teams that feature 1 or 2 guys are getting beat in today's NFL . Rivera won't have a job if he sticks with that gameplan imo.
Oh I dunno..Kal El's shoulder is a concern for sure, but, both DJ Moore and Curtis Samuel flashed some serious playmaking ability, and as a 2nd and third year, they could form a pretty scarey combo of weapons. If the QB can just stay active and mostly effective, they could have a special offense..maybe. The potential is there at least.

Its interesting you think the Chiefs would be a great landing spot for a RB. If there ANY sure things, a CMac, a Barkley, a Zeke, maybe even a Fournette or Mixon..I'd agree. But I don't see anyone in the draft that could come in and scare Williams and Hyde off the job

Stomp, this is quite the detailed list. Bravo.

The only head-scratcher to me is SF. Don't they have like 6 RB right now? And Shanny said he wants to use all of them. Can't see them getting another RB.

I don't see it either, but he ain't wrong, they've got no one to grind out the tough yards. The goal line, the 3 and 1, a closer to run the clock. They'll likely make due with they've got, but it is a missing element.

Edit-- scratch all that..they've got Juszczyk..they're good

You may be right, but that's a potentially great offense they have there; throw in Kittle and hope that Garappolo comes back, it ain't too shabby on paper. I think their bigger missing element is a game changing WR.

Williams is a JAG that had a couple decent games until he proves otherwise.

Hyde fell off the RB cliff a few years ago, he's never been much of a receiver, and he spends far to much time dancing around in the backfield.

There are a ton of guys in this draft class that would be improvements over those guys imo.

They have a bunch of guys with similar skill sets all smallish 1 cut guys that are injury risks every time they touch the ball and Juice who only ran the ball 8 times last year. They need a clock killer.

you're right on hyde generally not being much of a receiver. I will add though, that in 2017 he caught 59 balls on 88 targets. not a great catch rate, but he was used, certainly wasnt his norm though

Well, Stomp, you did a lot of work on this, a few are real life needs, and I certainly applaud the time and effort - but there are so many that I actually disagree on that I can't take the time to address singularly. In a nutshell, it appears actual team 'needs' were not accounted for, and the focus was purely offensive (would be nice). I say that because many teams have REAL life needs on the defensive side of the ball that were ignored in favor of pure offense. ... remember the number of holes you can fill are very limited - and real talent runs out pretty quickly. ....

It not a list of what i think the teams will or should do. Its a list of spots where players at the listed positions would have a good chance at early success if they land with those teams.

OK - I get that but I count 27 teams listed with some type of RB 'need'. IMO there are not 27 RBs worth rostering out there - including those in the next 2 drafts. .....
