I think the first round or two will be determined by what happens with FA. If we lose Andre Smith we'll need to strongly consider a first round tackle. If we lose Michael Johnson, a DE would be a good pick (probably would anyway), to at least take away some leverage in the Carlos Dunlap renegotiation.

I'd love to see us add a playmaker at linebacker or safety - Otherwise, keep building those lines.

I'd like to second grad's motion. Keep building both lines, you can never get too many good linemen on either side of the ball.

Out of those guys listed, I bolded the ones I would take, though they probably aren't the guys I would pick out of everyone out there.

Aren't the OP and FlamingGay the same two baboons who touted, sucked and jerked off Blaine Gabbert as the best QB in his class two years ago?

ya, I'd pass on any draft advice from Dumb and Dumber. But, i am sure they will tell you it was not them. it was

It depends on who we lose, but I would go DE as of right now. I like Hunter a lot, but WR just isn't the bigger need now.

I think this is a draft we can take a risk or two.

Ansah has the ability to be a JPP type player, athletic freak. Downside is he hasn't been playing football that long. He has the ability to be a dominant DE in this league.

Amerson was a top 10 pick before this year. Dude is a ball hawk. He has gotten burnt some this year, but if that talent falls to the top of the 2nd you take him. Bernard is the top back in this draft and I doubt he is there with our second 2nd rounder. I really like the RB out of UCLA in the 3rd or 4th. Wagner isn't really a pick I think we need to make, I don't see an OT needing to be drafted that high unless Smith isn't resigned.

I think it is beyond necessary to pass on the RB at this point and address the second safety.

Hope we strike gold at the middle, bottom of the draft on a RB.

I do not mind the draft selections, I absolutely do not mind continuing to build the lines as that is the most important part of the team besides the QB.

However, I would have to put considerations in there for LB and S.

We shouldn't have to worry about Andre as I think the Bengals throw a truck load of money at him this year to keep him. I think they love running the ball over to that side of the line between Smith and Zeitler.

DL is not really a concern other than Dunlop's snaps as long as we can retain Michael Johnson.

Ogeltree is my guy in the first. Considering his positon, I think he's available at the Bengals pick. Plus, we need to take at least one UGA player...the dawgs have been kind to us.

1. Ogeltree
2a. Eric Reid
2b. Bernard
3. Holmes

:hand: Whoa! Gonna be really hard to get Ogeltree with the 32nd pick in the draft!

I wouldn't be mad if we picked Ogeltree, he fits a needs and is a good player. I just think Anseh has a chance to be the next JPP. Could you imagine that on the outside with Dunlap. Then on 3rd down move Dunlap inside and rush Anseh, Dunlap, Atkins and Johnson? We would have a better D-Line than the Giants IMO.

Reid has looked really bad this year. I'm not sure he is the type of Safety we need. Now that he doesn't have Mathieu, Claiborn and the other CB that was their last year, he just doesn't look very good.

IMO I'd rather take a chance on Mathieu in about the 5th round. I think he is the exact type FS we need.

I'm always good taking an athletic pass rusher. If they take Anseh it's a riskier pick but the upside is there. He might also not be available as those guys tend to shoot up the boards (for better or worse).

Also upside with Ogeltree as he's an amazing athlete and also instinctive. Really tired of the LB play of the Bengals (particularly Rey). Reid is okay, I'd be fine if they went another direction. I really like Bacardi Rambo (another dawg). Mathieu would definiely be worth the risk in the 5th.

If we make the playoffs I don't think Ogletree will be there when we pick. I really like the idea of David Amerson in the 2nd. A lot of people are thinking he may move to Safety in the NFL. With his ball hawking ability he may be an amazing get in the 2nd.

I have to agree with you here that Safety and Linebacker would be a bigger priority than D-line and running-back. Lets not forget we spent a 2nd and a 3rd on Devon Still and Brandon Thompson, respectively, last season and I'm pretty sure that was done with this year's Free Agency in mind. I think the extra pick we received in the Palmer trade will allow the Bengals to be a little unorthodox and possible go with an unexpected pick early since they're basically playing with 'House money'. I just have the feeling the team will go for a "wow" pick early, be it an OLB/DE hybrid who can rush the passer like Sam Montgomery or another speedy play-maker for the offense such as WR Justin Hunter. And while this class lacks an elite prospect there are many 2nd tier backs who would be an ideal fit for the Bengals. Here is a list of the RB's in the mid rounds that be a nice addition to the team.

Ranked 63rd- Le'veon Bell RB 6'2" 242 Michigan State
Ranked 85th- Montee Ball RB 5'11" 210 Wisconsin
Ranked 112th- Ed Lacy RB 5'10" 220 Alabama
Ranked 129th- Marcus Lattimore RB 6'0" 232 South Carolina
Ranked 152nd- Knile Davis RB 6'0" 220 Arkansas
Ranked 205th- Rex Burkhead RB 5'10" 213 Nebraska
unranked- Michael Dyer RB 5'9 212 Arkansas Baptist

I still think Franklin the RB from UCLA would be a STEAL in the 3rd or 4th. He has the big play ability and the receiving ability we need but he is still 5'10 205.

And we're back to reality..... boy that didn't last long. How in the World can you say the 3rd ranked safety, who's ranked 41st overall, who actually had more tackles than his sophomore season has "looked really bad" in your opinion? How is that possible?

The guy who claimed Blaine Gabbert was amazing has no business worrying about anyone's posts. You've been exposed as a football IQ zero.

WalterFootball.com: 2013 NFL Draft: Safety Rankings

I'm not saying he was bad all year, but he had some really poor outings. His pas coverage skills went way down this year. We don't need a S who needs to work on pass coverage skills. Rambo and Mathieu IMO are way better prospects IMO and can be gotten later.

So was this post directed at me? Because that's laughable as I was actually one of the few who wanted the Bengals to draft WR A.J. Green in 2011. And if you recall my mocks had the Bengals trading back into the 1st Round with Seattle for Andy Dalton. So you make want to go back and check your notes.
