No, he is not worth a 2nd rounder imo and doesn't fit the new culture. Pass!!!

IF we got Kam and a 4th for our 2nd... i could live with that. He is still on the better side of 30, and would do alot to bolster our secondary.

No way. Why would we give up a 2nd rounder especially in this draft?

Because it would be one less hole we needed to fill going into the draft. And rumor is we would get Kam and a 4th for our second. I could live with that.

But what is KAM's contract? I wouldn't give up a 2nd round pick. SM says he wants to build thru the draft.

$5.1 million this year, and $7.125 in 2017, but my guess is we would extend him and lower those numbers as well.

What are the odds we get a player as good as Kam with that 2nd rounder?

Yes I agree safety is a huge need but I wanted that 2nd rounder for a dlineman. As of right now Im thinking Kelly at #21 and Billings or Butler in the 2nd round

I didn't realize Kam is only 27 years old. Country a lot of analysts are saying that those two guys are 2nd round picks. also add Kenny Clark and Austin Johnson as 2nd round picks too.

Billings is wishful thinking but the other guys could be there in the 2nd round.

The draft is supposedly so deep at d-line that there'd be quality at that position that would be pushed into the third round. Having said that, I'd like to see us draft a DT, DE, and C in our first three rounds, not necessarily in that order. Or I'd like us to trade down and get more picks.
