Dysfunctional organization for the last decade+ tends to point towards ownership. Yorks aren't neccesarily competent to find a good HC or GM. Gonna be a rough ride.

Inept Jed is the main problem. I feel for any fan base that has a shitty owner. In our case we had a spectacular original owners in the Nordstrom family. We couldn't ask for much better than that. Then they sold out to carpetbagger Behring who ran the team into the ground so he could hope the locals would pray that this abomination of a franchise would please leave town. It didn't work. Then we were saved by paul Allen who picked up the smoldering embers of an organization, then decided and made decisions to make the team a 1st class organization from the FO down.

Even if the owner has no business in this game, a good GM would have taken advantage of full authority and built a roster that could compete year in and year out.....

Josh McDaniels - C - Patriots
Bleacher Report's Jason Cole says there's "increasing talk" Patriots OC Josh McDaniels and former NFL executive Louis Riddick are tied to each other for a coach/GM pairing.

McDaniels and Riddick both have interviews set up with the 49ers. With Patriots director of personnel Nick Caserio likely to stay in his current role, it sounds like they could end up being a package deal. Riddick has been a supporter of McDaniels as an ESPN analyst and played under Bill Belichick for three seasons in New England. McDaniels has interest from the Jaguars and Rams, but the 49ers have emerged as his top landing spot.

When York chose Baalke over Harbaugh after how fast and how far he had taken that team, he proved he's a total and complete dumb ass.

People talk about how hard it is to find that franchise QB, but it's at least as hard, if not harder, to find that top flight HC that can put it all together and take a team to great places.

They have made one bad decision after another and failed to backup and support those decisions to even give them a chance.

It's a complete dumpster fire and they have no hope of putting that fire out with the current ownership in charge. You can't fix stupid.
