So what are your rooting interests?

In the NL, I am cool with ABD. In the AL, I don’t really like any of the teams, but I guess I am rooting for the winner of the Cleveland/Houston series.

In the AL:

1. Astros
2. Indians
3. A'ss
4. Spankass
5. Dead Sux

I was glad to see the Rockies win last night (what a long game) but a bit sad the Cubs were the ones they knocked out. I had much preferred a Cubs win over the Dodgers in the Wild Card, but oh well. Go Braves!

Here's how I'd rank the playoff teams, tzill-style:
NL
1. Brewers
2. Rockies
3. Braves
4. (can I just leave 4 blank?)

AL
1. Indians
2. A's
t3. Red Sox
t3. Astros
5. Yankees

For WS winners, I'd go:
1. Indians
2. Brewers
3. Rockies
4. A's
5. Braves
t6. Red Sox
t6. Astros
I don't want to consider the other two

I'm probably rooking for the Brewers over the Rockies. Definitely rooting for the Braves.

Easily rooting for the Indians in the AL, probably followed by the A's (I really don't hold much animosity towards them, even if they do towards the Giants..... althought they would become unbearable should they win the World Series)

I like hard-luck stories. With the Cubs and Sox winning recently, all baseball has left is the Tribe. I kinda want to see that continue. So my overall rooting is...

Nah. No need to give them back-to-back pennants. And watching the Spanks getting another flag is not a whole hell of a lot better.

For me, the sooner they are out of the playoffs, the bigger the fail. As a fan, I much rather see a WS loss (although it may sting more being so close) than an NLDS loss. While the WS loss would hurt from being that close, the consolation is "at least we got there". NLDS losers cannot say that. (Of course, being able to say "they didn't make the playoffs" would have been even sweeter, as a Giants' fan, but our team shoulders a lot of that responsibility. The only spoiling that happened last weekend was the Giants' 2018 season.)
