The White Sox are playing terrible baseball and tonight was beyond deflating.

Considering we haven't won a playoff game since 2004. Have lost 16 in a row(3 against Oakland so not all Yankees). I won't get too far ahead of myself but I think our best path is this.

Win division avoid the Yanks(duh). Get the 3 seed.

That means we play Houston(I know they could show up in 3 games but they havent been good) first. Then we get the winner of Oakland and Cleveland. Thats a good path. Oakland is very beatable and if we play the Indians in Round 2, with the no days off thing they can't throw Bieber at us nearly as often.

If we get the 2. Instead we start with Clevelands pitching(which is tougher in 3 games) and then play winner of A's/Stros. Still not bad but less ideal.

We get the 4? Nightmare. Yanks and then the Rays(unless Toronto pulls a miracle).

Also the 2/3 bracket has us at Dodger Stadium which I think is better suited than Petco for our penchant to be homer or nothing(I dont have stats to back it up though).

@mr.hockey4242 don't count Carrasco and Plesac out either. They are both very good pitchers. I do not like the White Sox chances to take the Indians down if they match up in round 1.

Im not(although we have hit both them). Thats why I said I prefer Cleveland in a longer series with no breaks. They will be forced to use all their starters and hit for many games.

For our likely first round opponents my order of preference is Astros, Indians, Yankees. And I flat out wanna avoid the Yanks/Rays double duty.

If White Sox fall behind the Indians and us somehow, I'd probably rather face them than Cleveland.
