Seattle was never a threat. For Seattle to pass us we would have to lose out. If that happens, Atlanta passes us anyway.

Even if we lose out. Certainly don't want to back into the playoffs. Just an FYI

Six spot should still be the goal. Keeps alive the slim chances of a home playoff game. Need one more Green Bay loss.

@countryroads316 and @skinsdad62 there was value in Seattle losing. We can now lose out and still get in with a Tampa loss. No one wants that, but I did feel that as a man I needed to admit I was partially wrong.

A Vikings loss would have meant no matter the outcome of the Packers/Vikings game, we would have been in line for the 6 spot, because Minnesota travels to Detroit in week 18.

Maybe New Orleans does us a solid tonight.

If we beat Atlanta the Dallas game should mean something unless they flex us to 4pm and GB has already won their 1pm game. We'll see.

As far as making the playoffs, if that happens, we're in. Still trying to get to the six seed though.

If we can know before the ATL game that we are in, I think that is huge. I dont think you can risk JD5 getting hurt if you all already in the playoffs. Sure the 6 seed is better. The Pack has a very strong chance to hang on to it. Plus, if they beat Minnesota at 1pm they should have it locked up. So to sum up if Carolina and GB win next week at 1pm, we should rest players. I hear you. I still probably play my guys as long as the 6 spot is still available. Taking two weeks off before the playoffs could affect the rhythm of the offense.

Green Bay loses to Minnesota and we win out, I could see Green Bay going to Philly and pulling an upset. Then GB would have to go to Detroit.

Our path would look like Rams and MN/TB/ATL.

Green Bay beats a banged up Lions, now you are playing in the divisional round for the right to host the NFC Championship game.

We are definitely getting ahead of ourselves, but this is how it was in the 80s. Lol. Playoff scenarios and matchups. It's been a while.

Gotta beat Atlanta though. I want to walk into the playoffs on a 5 game heater if possible.
