I should've made this when the playoffs started but I am curious to who everyone is rooting for in what order.

Mine goes as following
Niners
Broncos (I should just say Peyton)
Pats
Colts
Saints
Panthers
Chargers
Seahawks lul:yahoo:

I am not a Seahawk fan, but there is no reason to dis them until they lose. Look like a favorite to me.

The "experts" have the Colts as the weakest team left in the playoffs. I hope they are up to their usual standards.

Niners - obvious choice
Patriots - Brady
Chargers - underdog Cali team
Colts - Luck
Broncos - Peyton
New Orleans - dislike less than the other 2
Carolina - dislike less than Seattle
Seattle - Sherman and Tate just to name a couple

I assume this is who we're rooting for the most.

Pats
Chargers
Panthers

Broncos or GTFO! If we lose before the SB, then I will watch the games, but I won't root for any team until the SB, at which time I will root for whichever team represents the NFC.

That is a little sour grapey don't you think? I like it. If you can't beat them, fuck them (why Red Fox said he married a Korean woman).

Every "expert" I've seen has basically picked SF to win. I also hope the "experts" are up to their usual standards.

I'm rooting for all the lower seeds. I just like it when underdogs win. How cool would it be to see a 4 and 5 seed hosting Championship games?

Good thing is my team plays last. So in the unlikely event of a loss (hehe), the other games won't be ruined for me.

I'm not rooting for anyone in particular. I'm just hoping they're entertaining games.

It's not out of the ordinary for a lower seed to win.

I never claimed to be a good sport, Blue. I'm just too sour grapey to ever bring myself to root for Indy, NE, or SD, all teams that have inflicted harm on the Broncos over the years!

And this year too, though Denver did win here in SD. I'm not liking the injury report though. My confidence is taking a hit. We need the entire O-line healthy, especially Fluker, if we're going to run the ball.

Not yet prepared to concede that point. While your team's win in Denver a few weeks ago obviously helped them, if Denver wins Sunday, then it could be that the loss in the previous meeting turned out to have been beneficial to the Broncos.

I don't know that I buy into that. When the ball kicks off I don't think what happened a month ago, a year ago, or 5 years ago, means anything. It's all about who executes their game plan best and makes the fewest mistakes.

There are a lot of Charger fans and media talking about that game a month ago, but all the players I've heard interviewed say it's meaningless.

I pretty much agree with you. At the same time, I don't think that having recently seen that SD is capable of winning in Denver, coupled with Denver finding itself in the same situation that it was in before suffering the season ending 2OT loss to the Ravens a yeae ago, leaves any room for complacency. Probably won't help much, but it certainly can't hurt.
