We just got our most important offensive passing asset back yesterday Dennis Pitta. We haven't had him or Boldin all year and our redZone Offense was nada...with him on the field it changes the way the offense plays. In just his first game back he had two clutch catches on 4th down and a TD.

We aren't just trying to make the playoffs we are trying to WIN the division and it's not out of reach. U lose @ Pitt and we win in Det it's one game.

I'm just saying from the earlier posts it was like the Ravens har such a hard schedule and Cincy doesn't...that ain't the case... Going into Pitt and winning in December when it REALLY matters to them will be extremely difficult...I'm glad it's not us.

This team did it last year. Went in to Pitt, and won a typical AFCN sluggfest, that not only clinched a playoff spot, but I believe knocked Pitt out of the playoffs.

You can argue that the offense is better than it was last year, and Pitt is worse overall. Also, this team has a knack for beating good teams:

GB, NE, @Det, @SD, Ind...

All of those teams would be heading to the playoffs if not for Rodgers being injured, and heck, GB might still be in the mix, I dunno....

Pitta being back is not going to help this offense the way it needs help. It will help some, but Baltimore needs Ray Rice to not look like he's 50 years old carrying the football. Without an affective run game, Baltimore is going to struggle.

A win in Pitt in Dec will be huge...and after Tomlin stuck his foot in his mouth last week against us he will be ready to show his ass IMO.

Congrats on beating the juggernaut Vikings without Adrian Peterson on a miracle play on your home field.

Pitta wont help in the redzone huh? We beat you last time without him ....interesting evaluation given that in his first game back he caught 2 4th down throws one for a TD.

Interesting thoughts considering you struggled to beat a very bad Minn team without ADP, at home, and needed a return TD and some terrible defense on the final drive to sneak it out.

I didn't say he wouldn't help, but it wasn't like his return was going to vault the offense into scoring 26-28 points a game. A return of the 2012, or even 2011 Ray Rice would. Without a legit running game, in which Baltimore has had a history of having, they are not nearly as potent on offense. Baltimore is currently ranked 28th in offense...the return of Pitta is nothing like N.E. when they got back Gronk. Baltimore might see a rise in their offensive production, but it's not going to be something that is going to take them from their current 21 points a game into a new level. Not happening. If you think so, you're delusional.

669 yards 61 rec. and 7 TD's last year...

Considering we lost 4 games by 3 points or less this year his production for us is huge. He scores more then Gresham or Eifert.

Laugh away.

I mean laughing at a team that just won a Super Bowl makes perfect sense to me given your outstanding playoff record. Yeah that makes sense.

I didn't say he was... He is for us though... He creates mismatches for teams that have been keying on Ray Rice out of the backfield as well. Our offense starts with the TE's yours starts with AJ Green. When we don't have a TE that can catch or it kills our offense.

Losing him for us was akin to you losing Green bc we let go of Boldin bc Pitta was going to pick up that slack and haven't been able to replace it. Especially in the Redzone we have been abysmal with him back just one game in the redzone twice equaled 2 TD's that's a big difference then when we played Pittsburgh last week and kicked 5 FG's not being able to score in the Redzone.

You say you you don't compare Pitta to Gronk, and then in the very next sentence, you do exactly that!

In 7 games this year, Gronk has nearly all the yards Pitta had in an entire 2012 season. Stop. Pitta is not the upgrade you are trying to make him out to be. He's simply not.

Will he help? Yes. Will it take the Ravens offense into another tier of scoring? No.

He was back 1 game and scored 2 red-zone TD's against the 32nd ranked defense in the NFL. Congrats. I'm glad that he was able to find his way against the worst defense in the NFL.

Who the hell in their right mind is keying on Rice anymore out of the backfield. I could probably cover him right now.

Pitta is a decent player, but no way comparable to losing an AJ Green. He may be as important to your lineup, but it is not the same as losing an AJ Green. At any rate, we still have Jones, Sanu, Bernard, Gresham, Eifert...so while losing Green would hurt pretty good, I think we could still score points. Dalton forces the ball to Green sometimes because he is AJ Green, so if Green was not even there to throw to, Dalton would just spread the ball around even more instead of making some of his dumb mistakes he makes trying to get the ball to Green.

Don't get me wrong, Green is very very important to our offense, but I don't think our offense would be as bad as yours if we lost Green. Pitta just doesn't demand the same kind of attention, so in general, your offense is terrible, just slightly better than terrible with Pitta healthy.

Yet that offense put up more points against what I am sure you will say is great Cincy defense and we won.

weird right? I wonder how that happened even without Pitta.

You guys are really sensitive...Its almost like you are trying to convince yourselves you belong at the top of the AFCN? Enjoy it gentleman it wont last and if it does I sure hope our teams play in the playoffs.... that would be great.
