Some of us had no interest in this discussion before we got in. But now the time has come so I'll start paying attention. I heard the name Seahawks. What needs to happen so we get another team, preferably the Vikes?

according to the media we are not good enough for the playoffs we just won the'east because everybody else is horriable in the east ,one guy said i can see the skins finish last next year because romo will be healthy and eagles will find a way to use murry and the giants are dangerous team

This is kind of helpful but hard to take a link seriously when they project Seattle at 9-6. Where I went to school that adds up to only 15 games.

So who are we rooting for to avoid Seattle? They are very dangerous, I guess I want Green Bay to finish ahead of them?

The best way for the Skins not to have to face the Seahawks would be for the Hawks to lose a game and both GB and Minn not lose another game. That would drop Seatown to the 6th seed. As it stands now. If Seattle doesn't lose they're pretty much locked in to the 5th seed regardless as one of the two, GB or Minn, will win the NFC Central, but whoever doesn't win the NFC Central. Seattle has the tiebreaker on them because they beat both GB n Minn this year. I doubt both GB and Minn win out the year though as they face each other in the last game of the season.

So basically what you need to hope for is..............

Minny to beat both NYG and GB to finish 11-5 and GB to beat Ari and lose to Minny to finish 11-5. One of them will be the NFC Central Champs and the other will be the 1st wildcard team/5th seed.

Seattle loses to either St Lou or Ari to finish up at 10-6 making them the 2nd wildcard team/6th seed.

Week one playoffs 6th seed @ 3rd seed - 5th seed @ 4th seed which will be the Redskins.

Who we play will be decided next week. If the Cards beat the Seahawks, we likely get the Vikings.

If the Seahawks beat the Cards, we get the Sea Hawks.

And lastly if the Cards win, And the Vikings win... we play Green BAy.

Guys.... As I mentioned on the main boards. We are playing with house money at this point. No one will pick us to win that game. It doesnt matter who we play, we will be home dogs. Even if we are one and done, you can only really consider this season a success.

I would rather play Seattle in week one of the playoffs than be in the position of asking..... What should we do with our top five draft pick.

You don't go to the playoffs to duck other teams. If you want to be one of the big boys you have to play the big boys.
