The last time I was in Denver it was -10 and snowing like a mutha....had 3' drifts when it was all said and done.........BTW, I love it when people say it's too cold to snow. They need to move to Rock Springs or Rawllins Wy. Those are the 2 coldest places I've ever been (with wind chill) and I lived in Jackson Hole for a couple years.

Here in the midwest, the meteorologists on the local news will show a map that includes northern IL (Chicago) all the way up to the Canadian border. And they all seem to point to International Falls, MN which always seems to be the coldest place in the IL-WI-MN area. I think they do this so that we don't feel as bad about our temps.

I have the Niner's going all the way this year. I know, I know they can't win in Seattle but I have a feeling they find a way.

They might not have too. I know it is a longshot, but if NO gets by Philly, I give them a fighting chance against Seattle too.

NFC championship in SF?

The weathermen here always seem to point to Old Faithful.................not quite as cold as International Falls but when it gets to -25 or -30 it's all pretty much the same..........just cold! Wind chill is the killer IMO.

To Treff's point (sort of)... A lot of guys have Denver in the Super Bowl. Their 3 losses are against the Colts, Chargers and Patriots - all AFC playoff teams. Just saying.

And if they happen to play KC a third time, you think they'd sweep? How often does a 3-game sweep happen per season? (Rhetorical.)

How often does a 3-game sweep happen per season?

The real question is - how often does a team that's beaten a team twice in the regular season win when they face the same team in the playoffs? A lot? A little? About even? (There have been twenty playoff games where one team has already beaten the other twice.)

I'll let you guys mull it over before I give up the answer.

(I know it was rhetorical, but this is one of my favorite questions.)

Was really hoping no one else would say anything on it, as I really wanted to, but wasn't going to! :)
I want to say that it rarely if ever happens, but something tells me it probably does happen, nearly every time.
There's something to familiarity and knowing how a team beat you in the past and using that to gameplan, but there's also a very real feeling of "shit! These guys already kicked our asses twice, we're screwed! "

I think each instance needs to be viewed independently. In some cases, the first 2 games were very close, but they happened to go the same way. I just can't see KC beating Denver because the match-ups just don't favor the Chiefs. Unless their defense can re-discover their QB swarming ways, they have no chance.

Looks like 10 of 19 have Charles in there (you can see players whose games have started on other people's teams).

Nobody has Knile Davis.
